FAQ

Below are a list of frequently asked questions, if you don’t find and answer to your question below please feel free to Contact us:

How do I purchase a print?

Simply navigate to our Buy Prints page where you will find categories for our images, once you have clicked on one of the category images you will be taken to a page of images available for print.  Simply click on the image to enlarge it and below it you will see a “Buy Print”, “Buy Card”, and “eCard” options.  Our print partner Fotomoto will show you sizing and purchase options for that image from there.

How do I checkout?

After making a purchase selection you will remain on the same page the image you’re purchasing resides on and you have the option to continue shopping on the site.  Once you are ready to checkout you will see a “Cart” button on the upper right-hand of your screen if you’re in one of the print category pages (People, Places, Things, Kansas City, etc.).  You will not see the cart in any of the non-print category pages (i.e. Blog, Home) but can access it once you navigate to one of the print category pages.  Simply click on the Cart button to checkout.

Will the “Chris Reese Photography” logo be included on prints?

No.  The logo only appears as an advertising and security device for the lower/non-print quality images that appear on this site and on our social media accounts.  Any prints you order will not include a logo.

Why do I only see a few sizes listed when I click on “Buy Print”?

Our printing partner Fotomoto places recommended sizes next to the image you select but all traditional sizes are available for purchase.  Simply click on the “More Sizes” button below the suggested sizes to see more options.  For landscape/panoramic images (where the image is much wider than it is tall) we recommend you select one of the recommended sizes for best results as other sizes may requrie considerable cropping of the image.

Why is the image I’m purchasing being cropped and will it ship to me cropped?

The images on the site are not of print quality and are not sized for printing.  Our print partner Fotomoto is using the dimensions of these thumbnail images when providing a printing preview and therefore some will appear to need cropping.  All images you purchase are individually prepared for printing by a member of the Chris Reese Photography staff and typically will not require cropping.  Any cropping that may occur would be very minimal and if extensive cropping was necessary for a selected print size you will be contacted by a member of the Chris Reese Photography staff to discuss your options.  Bottom line; don’t worry about the cropping area shown on your print preview,  your image shouldn’t need any cropping.  The exception would be for landscape/panoramic images (where the image is much wider than it is tall) and if you select a size that is not of a panoramic ratio it would require severe cropping and it is recommended that you choose one of Fotomoto’s recommended sizes for these images.

What if I’m not happy with the quality of the print I receive?
